EDEN BodyWorks Coconut Shea Leave In Conditioner

IMG_20160619_170147This is one of the better leave-in I’ve tried! This thin cream checks out in my book.

Slick: this cream is thin enough to slip through your hair but thick enough to actually stay in your hair, perfect.

Moisture: everyone knows coconut is great for dehydrated hair, and this leave in proves that. It isn’t the most moisturizing I’ve tried but it definitely does enough for me and perfect for the summer months.

Price: $8.47 at Walmart and $8.49 at Sally beauty, affordable and works great. What more could you ask for?

Side note: After applying it to your whole head wrap your hair in a terry cloth towel or t-shirt for about 15 minutes. This allows your hair to really absorb it before adding more product. I recommend this for any leave in conditioner.

I personally do not follow this method; however, I do use sulfate, silicone, and paraben free products. I also try to stay away from products that use alcohol (usually in mousse stylers) because it dries out my hair.

When I get in the shower I can see there’s still product in my hair even if I stretch it all the way to Day 4 hair. That is why I cannot let go of shampoo! Now that does not mean you to use shampoo all the time.

I rarely ever wash my hair any more than 3 times a week. To be honest, I usually only wash it twice a week, but sometimes I have to wash it again depending on if I work out, go to the beach, ect. My wash days are mainly Tuesdays and Saturdays. I ONLY SHAMPOO EVERY OTHER WASH! On my other wash day I use a co-wash (my favorite is L’Oreal Paris EverCurl Sulfate Free Hydracharge Cleansing Conditioner).

The reason for my madness is because Read More »
